2023 (5TH-YEAR SEASON)
A record shattering fifth-year had Rother selected to the Patriot League First Team for the third consecutive year after being named the Preseason Player of the Year... Set school records for single-season home runs (15) and RBIs (64) which also broke career records with 35 home runs and 168 RBIs... Tallied 66 hits in 193 at-bats for a .342 batting average and 17 doubles with 41 runs scored... Ended his career at the top of many statistical categories including career hits (234), games played (189), at-bats (723) and doubles (47)... Took home Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors to open the season after delivering a 3.0 inning save while not allowing a hit or run with a career-high five strikeouts... Recorded 17 multi-hit games with a perfect 5-for-5 performance at the plate against Delaware State with a home run, two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored (4/4)... Plated three or more runners on 10 occasions, with a season-high six RBIs coming against Holy Cross when he boasted two home runs in his 2-for-3 outing with two intentional walks... Rother also saw action on the mound, tossing 11.2 innings of work and two saves, the first garnered him PL Pitcher of the Week while the second save came at Utah Valleyy, recording the final out of the game to secure the victory (3/10)... 2022 (SENIOR SEASON)
A year that saw Rother earn back-to-back Patriot League Player of the Year and a second consecutive year on the Patriot League First Team... Recording a career-highs of 74 hits in 202 at-bats with 19 doubles, nine home runs and a triple for a .366 batting average... Rother also plated 50 RBIs and scored 43 runs of his own with 24 multi-hit games including a 20-game hitting streak to end the season... On four occasions, Rother turned in a four-hit performance, with the most notable coming in a win over Holy Cross, going 4-for-5 with two doubles and a home run with eight RBIs and three runs scored (5/1)... On top of his impressive offensive effors, Rother tossed 16.1 innings of action and went 3-0 with a couple of saves... Was credited with two saves, the first against Mount St. Mary's (2/27) and the other against Bucknell (4/3)...
His three wins came in league action, earning a victory over Navy after throwing 3.0 scoreless innings with just one hit and a season-high three Ks (4/16)... His longest outing of 3.1 innings was in his last win of the season against Holy Cross, allowing just one hit with a couple of strikeouts...
2021 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Elite year with the Mountain Hawks, capped off by becoming the program's fourth-ever Patriot League Player of the Year and first since 2016. Also named a First Team All-Patriot League selection...Played 42 games, making a start in all 42 playing primarily in right field, but also spending some time at first base earlier in the season...hit .329 over 42 games with 52 hits, six doubles, six homers, a triple and 34 RBIs. Rother slugged .494 and walked 22 times, striking out just 15 times in 158 at-bats with an OBP of .422...finished fourth of all Patriot League hitters in average, second in hits, third in RBIs, second in home runs and seventh in walks...finished tied for the team-lead in multi-hit games with 14, including four with at least three hits...also had a team-best 26-game reached base streak earlier in the season and finished the campaign on a four-game streak heading into 2022...named Patriot League Player of the Week (4/13) after slashing .643/.786/.737 with two wins over Bucknell and a win over Lafayette. He doubled twice, walked five times, drove in two runs and scored four times over four multi-hit games.
2020 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Took on a new role, playing mostly first base and occasionally pitched for the first time in his college career...saw action in 15 games, including 14 starts...tied for the team lead in home runs (2) and led the team in RBIs (10), total bases (27), triples (2), slugging percentage (.500) and was fourth in batting average (.278) and second in OPS (.822)...went 2-for-4 with an RBI double at Richmond (2/22)...had a two-run homer in a win against CCSU (2/29)...first three-hit performance of the season came at NC A&T (3/7) in a winning effort, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored...closed campaign at FDU (3/10) by going 2-for-4 with a home run and a triple...on the mound, made two appearances including a start in the home opener vs. Coppin State (3/4)...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2019 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Made 32 appearances including 30 starts in his rookie campaign, primarily at designated hitter and occasionally at catcher...earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors (2/19) after kicking off the 2019 season with a 3-for-4 day with a run scored and an RBI against Duke (2/17)...went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs in a win at VMI (3/16)...finished season with six multi-hit games, the second most among Lehigh freshmen.
