C.O.A.C.H. PROGRAM
"Community Outreach by Athletes who Care about Helping"
Â

Community Outreach by Athletes who Care about Helping (C.O.A.C.H.) is a service program that operates in accord with the National Consortium for Academics and Sports to help (along with parents, teachers and coaches) elementary and middle school students and their peers make informed choices regarding their education, drug and alcohol issues and other factors which may affect reaching their full potential. The participating Lehigh student-athletes talk about substance abuse, time management, academic motivationand other concerns of younger students and student-athletes.
Community outreach by Lehigh student-athletes has been a part of the athletic program since 1991. Visits to elementary and middle schools have been made by a number of student-athletes and coaches. Our athletes also work with community groups in association with Lehigh athletic events.
