Zyung Tabbed Patriot League Men's Golfer of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh sophomore Noah Zyung has been named Patriot League Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday. Zyung turned in an outstanding individual performance to earn medalist honors at Colgate's Alex Lagowitz Memorial with the Mountain Hawks dominating the 14-team field to win the team title.

Zyung finished the 54-hole tournament at nine under par 207 (68-73-66), topping a 92-player field. His final round 66 featured five birdies and an eagle on the par 5 12th hole. Zyung made 14 birdies and an eagle over his 54 holes and posted a six-stroke victory over first-year Lehigh teammate Ryan Cronin.

The victory was the first for a Lehigh individual since David Hurly won the 2023 Lehigh Invitational. The Mountain Hawks won their first team title since winning Lafayette's ABARTA Collegiate Invitational in the spring of 2024. The Mountain Hawks won Colgate's tournament once previously, back in 2005.

Zyung opened his sophomore campaign by tying for 14th place at Boston College's Red Bandanna Invitational Aug. 31-Sept. 1.

The Mountain Hawks are back in action at the Temple Invitational, Sept. 20-21 in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
