Quinn, Roth Recognized as All-American Scholars by GCAA

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Rising senior Matthew Quinn and recent graduate Jake Roth have been named NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for the 2025-26 season by the Golf Coaches Association of America, it was announced Monday. Roth is honored for the second consecutive season, while Quinn is a first-time honoree.

To be eligible for the GCAA All-America Scholar team at the Division I level, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically, participate in 40 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.

Both Quinn and Roth are finance majors, with Quinn owning a 3.82 GPA. Roth graduated in May with a GPA above 3.4 throughout his career.

Quinn was selected to the Academic All-Patriot League team following the Patriot League Championship, where he tied for 30th. He had a 75.1 scoring average across 27 rounds in 10 tournaments.

Roth graduated as a two-time All-Patriot League performer, securing first team honors in 2025-26. He led Lehigh with a 73.14 scoring average across eight tournaments and was Lehigh's No. 1 or 2 finisher in seven of the eight tournaments.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that at least one Lehigh men's golfer was recognized. A total of 649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 GCAA All-America Scholar honors.
As a team, the Mountain Hawks were also recognized with the GCAA All-Academic Team Award for having a team GPA over 3.0. Lehigh was one of 86 Division I programs to achieve this honor.
