
Forkner Named to All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's tennis sophomore Maggie Forkner has been named to the All-Patriot League first team, as announced by the league on Friday afternoon. The All-League teams and major awards are voted on by the Patriot League's head coaches.
This marks Forkner's second career All-League recognition and her first selection to the first team. She posted an impressive 11-5 singles record this season, including an 8-2 mark at the No. 1 singles position, solidifying her role as a key contributor for the Mountain Hawks. In doubles, she went 7-9.
A native of Libertyville, Ill., Forkner clinched the match-winning point in Lehigh's 4-3 victory over Bucknell in the Patriot League quarterfinals on April 25.
Lehigh concluded the season with a 12-8 overall record and a 4-3 mark in league play. The Mountain Hawks' postseason run ended with a 4-0 loss to Army in the semifinals.
