PHILADELPHIA- The University of Pennsylvania defeated the Lehigh Mountain Hawks 7-0 Saturday morning. With the loss, Lehigh falls to 3-8 on the young season. With the win, Penn improves to 6-4.Â
The match began with Penn claiming the doubles point, thanks to wins on courts 2 and 3.Â
The Quakers won all six singles matches in straight sets.Â
Up Next
Lehigh returns to action next weekend when it hosts Johns Hopkins at noon Saturday. The Mountain Hawks will then face Mount St. Mary's at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Both matches will be played at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center.
