BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's lacrosse saw two players receive weekly honors from the Patriot League, as announced Monday afternoon.

Senior faceoff specialist Sean Dow was named the Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week, while first-year attackman Colin French earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors.

This marks Dow's third time receiving the award this season and French's first. Both players delivered outstanding performances in Lehigh's 10-6 victory over Holy Cross on April 5.

Dow excelled at the faceoff "x," going 18-of-20 while also collecting 12 ground balls. The Simpsonville, S.C. native continues to dominate, winning 64% of his faceoffs this season (141-of-219). Dow leads the Patriot League with three weekly awards and tops the league in faceoff win percentage and ground balls per game (7.45).

French had a breakout performance, recording a career-high five points with four goals and one assist. His first-half hat trick helped Lehigh to an 8-1 lead at the break, and the Mountain Hawks held on to the advantage for the remainder of the game. French now has 11 points on the season, with 10 goals and one assist.

Next, Lehigh will return home for a Saturday matchup against Colgate at 12 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
