"Being an athlete meant juggling lacrosse, academics, and relationships—there was no choice but to stay disciplined and learn how to prioritize. I quickly realized that being coachable and putting in the work opens doors, both on and off the field. The same goes for the workplace: the more you prove yourself and put in the effort, the more people listen, and respect is earned. To me, success in sports is about knowing you've given every game your all—110 percent!—and I believe that holds true in any career. Leaders notice those who approach every day with the same level of focus and dedication.
I'm so grateful for my time at Lehigh, where I saw firsthand that culture is everything. Strong leadership, clear communication, and a shared mission make all the difference, and I thank Coach Jill, Sammy, and Shannon for showing me that.
No matter where you work, believing in the mission and vision is essential—it gives your work purpose. Equally important is finding leaders you admire, much like having senior role models to emulate as a freshman on the field.
"In my current role at Kosterina, I feel incredibly lucky to love what I do and to be part of a team that shares that mindset." - Lauren Beausoleil '17
Allison Thomas '11 was a four-time All-Patriot League honoree, earning first team honors in 2010 and 2011. She ranks third in program history in groundballs (166), and seventh in draw controls (143). READ ALLISON'S FULL BIO HERE
"Lehigh Lacrosse is such a big part of my life. My friends have become sisters who I am in contact with daily. Now that we all have kids, we have formed a bond that will last forever. I am a teacher and a lacrosse coach. I have been able to coach many teams since graduating from Lehigh and I love being part of a team as I help young players develop on and off of the field. My kids love to come coach with me too! They are 3 and 1 and they can't get enough of the field and the players!
I love Lehigh Lacrosse!" - Allison Thomas '11
