
Lehigh Falls In Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinal

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - No. 6 Lehigh was defeated by No. 3 Navy, 19-2, in the Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinal on Sunday.

Angelina Pino tallied the first goal of the game at 13:43, giving the Mountain Hawks an early 1-0 lead. Molly Snow earned the assist on the goal.

Navy responded with a 7-0 run to close out the first quarter, taking a 7-1 lead heading into the second quarter.

The Mids continued momentum, scoring four more goals before Emmie Ridgeway cut into the lead with a goal of her own, as Navy led 11-2. The Mids had more gas in the tank as they tallied one more goal in the half, carrying a 12-2 lead into intermission.

In the third quarter, Navy went on a 3-0 run, extending its lead to 15-2 moving into the fourth quarter. The Mids concluded the game with four goals in the fourth quarter, securing the 19-2 win over the Mountain Hawks

Navy held a 42-8 advantage in shots and a 21-4 advantage in draw controls.

Lauren Warfield and Ava Jennings had one caused turnover apiece. Brynn Freeman and Grace Martel split the total draw controls with two.
