Lazo Announces Pape And Pitkevits As Assistant Coaches

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Head coach Steph Lazo rounded out her coaching staff with the addition of two assistant coaches, Caroline Pape and Lexi Pitkevits. Pape will serve as the offensive coordinator, while Pitkevits will be the defensive coordinator.
"I am extremely thrilled to add Caroline and Lexi to our team," said Lazo. "Both bring a wealth of knowledge that will positively impact our student-athletes and will be felt immediately. I am excited to hit the ground running with Caroline and Lexi and look forward to executing our vision for our program together!"
Both coaches come by way of Rider University, where Pape was named the head coach in August, hiring Pitkevits as her assistant in October.
Pape is familiar with Bethlehem, spending four seasons at Moravian University, where she led the Greyhounds to a 38-34 overall record, including a 22-10 mark in Landmark Conference play. Moravian reached the Landmark Conference Tournament in all four years. Pape was named the Landmark Conference Coach of the Year in 2023, after leading the team to a 12-6 overall record and 6-1 conference mark.
Pitkevits was Pape's lead assistant at Moravian, helping the Greyhounds to a 10-8 overall record in 2025, including a 6-3 record in Landmark Conference play. Pitkevits was mainly responsible for the defense, draw team, and recruiting, resulting in the Greyhounds allowing three fewer goals per game than the season before.
