BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Mountain Hawks are back on the road Friday night as No. 23 Lehigh visits Bucknell in its final EIWA dual. Match time has been pushed back to 7 p.m. from Davis Gym in Lewisburg, Pa. Bucknell has dropped its last two duals, against Lock Haven and Navy to fall to 5-8 overall, but the Bison do own a victory over Army West Point back on Jan. 26.

Beard captured his first EIWA title last season, winning at 197, and went on to earn his second career All-America medal (and first at Lehigh) with an eighth place finish in Kansas City. So far this season, Beard is 14-1 with titles won at the Clarion Open and Journeymen Collegiate Classic. Among his 14 wins is one fall, eight technical falls and one major decision.

Seven Lehigh wrestlers appear in the latest rankings from InterMat, FloWrestling and WrestleStat, while three are ranked by Amateur Wrestling News and The Open Mat. Junior Carter Bailey was a new addition to the InterMat and FloWrestling rankings following two major decision victories last week. Sophomore Ryan Crookham was removed from two of the five rankings, but remains No. 1 at 133 according to the other three outlets. Senior Michael Beard (197), junior Sheldon Seymour (125) and graduate student newcomer Owen Trephan (285) are all ranked across the board, with Beard and Trephan ranked in the top 10 by all five outlets.
