Mountain Hawks Set For Midlands Championships Tuesday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's wrestling returns to the mats Tuesday at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships, hosted by Northwestern at Ryan Fieldhouse. The event is in its 61st year with a women's tournament set to be contested for the fourth year.
Sixteen Mountain Hawks are expected to compete in the event, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT with the finals set for 4 p.m. CT. Streaming video will be available on Big Ten Plus with brackets available on FloWrestling.

Lehigh is up to 13-0 in duals. In its last action, Lehigh went 4-0 at the Gannon's Women's Duals, which followed a 2-0 showing in the Mountain Hawks' home dual debut against Delaware State and East Stroudsburg.
Six Mountain Hawks appear in the latest rankings from The Open Mat,with Audrey Jimenez leading the way at No. 1 at 110. Aubre Krazer is ranked second at 131. Abbi Cooper is fifth at 117. Kryssceah Ravenelle (No. 17 at 138), Angelina Jiang (No. 16 at 160) and Genevieve An (No. 13 at 180). In the early December NWCA rankings, Jimenez is ranked fifth, Krazer sixth and Cooper seventh at their respective weights. The NWCA only ranked through 10.
Following the Midlands Championships, Lehigh will return to action in Iowa on Sunday, Jan. 18. What was originally a dual meet with the Hawkeyes will now be a tri-meet with Otterbein also joining the mix.
