Lehigh Announces 2026-27 Women's Wrestling Schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's wrestling announced its 2026-27 schedule. The second varsity season for the Mountain Hawks is highlighted by six home duals at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall, including a Jan. 30 tri-meet with Western New England University and the University of Iowa.

Season and single match tickets for the 2026-27 Lehigh wrestling season are now on sale and can be purchased at LehighTickets.com. Season ticket packages include all women's and men's home duals for the 2026-27 campaign.

The 2026-27 season officially kicks off with the Nov. 1 East Stroudsburg Open. Lehigh will then briefly step away from college competition with wrestlers competing at the Bill Farrell International, Nov. 6-7 at the New York Athletic Club.

Lehigh will send a continent to the Missouri Valley Open, Nov. 13-14 in Marshall, Mo.

December marks the start of dual competition, with Lehigh traveling to the Dec. 5 Gannon Duals in Erie, Pa. After a break for final exams, Lehigh will face Delaware State Dec. 18 in Newark, Del., in conjunction with the Beast of the East high school tournament. The Mountain Hawks' home opener will be the following day as Lehigh hosts Eastern University, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

The 2026 portion of the schedule concludes with the Midlands Championships, Dec. 30 at Northwestern, while 2027 kicks off with a home dual against King University on Saturday, Jan. 2.

New this year, Lehigh will take part in the NWCA National Duals, Jan. 8-9 at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Lehigh will host Lock Haven on Friday, Jan. 22 before heading to East Stroudsburg for the Pennsylvania State Collegiate Championships the following day.

January concludes with a visit from Emmanuel College on Friday, Jan. 29, with the tri-meet with Western New England and Iowa set for the following day. Lehigh will face Western New England at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30 and then will close out the tri-meet against the Hawkeyes at 4 p.m.

The regular season concludes with the Grand View Open, Feb. 6 in Iowa.

Lehigh will host the Super 2 Region tournament the weekend of Feb. 19-21. The second NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships will once again be held at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, March 5-6.

After the college season ends, Lehigh wrestlers will be back on the national freestyle circuit with the USMC Women's Nationals and World Team Trials set for April 8-11 in Spokane, Wash., and the U.S. Open April 22-25 in Las Vegas.
Lehigh returns most of its team from the inaugural 2026-27 varsity season, plus 14 newcomers for the 2026-27 season. The newcomers include all five NCAA qualifiers, four Super Region 2 champions and All-Americans Audrey Jimenez, Abbi Cooper and Aubre Krazer. Lehigh is the defending Super Region 2 team champion and finished sixth at last year's NCAA Tournament.
