With Four Champs, Nine Placewinners, Lehigh Claims NCAA Super Region 2 Title

WEST LIBERTY, W. Va. – Lehigh women's wrestling crowned four individual champions and placed all nine of its entrants in the top five of their respective weight classes in a dominant performance at the NCAA Super Region Two meet, which wrapped up Saturday at West Liberty's Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex.
Audrey Jimenez (110), Abbi Cooper (117), Aubre Krazer (131) and Kryssceah Ravenelle (138) all won individual titles and the Mountain Hawks claimed the team trophy with 151.5 team points. Host West Liberty finished second with 116 and Eastern claimed third place with 114.
All four of Lehigh's champions earned automatic qualification to the inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships, along with Genevieve An, who finished third at 180.
Lehigh entered nine wrestlers in the regional tournament and had four champions, a third place finisher, three fourth place finishers and a fifth place finisher.
Jimenez began her Saturday with her third fall of the tournament in the semifinals, then spotted East Stroudsburg's Teegan Sibble an early 4-0 lead before storming back to win 14-4 in 4:58 to give Lehigh its first regional champion.
Cooper pinned Lock Haven's Journie Rodriguez in the semifinals and then needed just 1:04 to claim her title, with a 10-0 victory over Josey Wehr of Eastern.
After a 9-0 decision in the semifinals, Krazer fell behind West Liberty's Cassia Zammit 3-0 before battling back to score the next 14 points, securing the technical superiority victory.
Ravenelle prevailed 3-1 in a tight semifinal matchup, scoring a pair of step out points and a passivity point. In the finals, Ravenelle built a 4-0 lead at the break before defeating Ragan Retell of East Stroudsburg 12-1.
Lehigh went 4-2 in Saturday morning's semifinal session and 3-0 in the consolation third round matches.
An won 11-1 over West Liberty's Janiya Brogan in the consolation semifinals and then secured third place with a second period pin over Jurelys Peguero del Rosario of Ursinus. An was leading 7-4 when she secured the pin at 4:34.
Hattie Mack took fourth at 103, rebounding from a semifinal loss to defeat Arcadia's Samantha Larkin 5-2 in the consolation semifinals. Mack lost by fall to Jesenia Camargo of Eastern in the third place match.
Alexa Ciliotta (124) and Makynna Loepp (145) both went 2-0 Saturday morning to reach the third place match. Ciliotta picked up two decisions, while Loepp recorded a pair of falls. Both wrestlers settled for fourth place after losing by fall in bronze medal action.
A 10-0 win over Arcadia's Eve Kurtz secured a podium place for Cameron Millsapps at 160. Millsapps dropped her consolation semifinal but received a medical forfeit victory to claim fifth place.
Lehigh's qualifiers will move on to the inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships, March 6-7 in Coralville, Iowa. The brackets will be unveiled Feb. 27.
The 2025-26 Lehigh wrestling season is presented by the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.
