Women's Wrestling Welcomes 14 in 2026 Recruiting Class

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh head coach Brazel Marquez has announced the addition of 14 student-athletes that will join the Mountain Hawks this fall. The incoming class features a number of state and national champions, as well as women that have represented the United States at age group levels.

"Our coaching staff is extremely excited about this amazing incoming class," Marquez said. "We've been able to consistently bring in top talent that is raising the bar of our program each year. All 14 of these women were strategically brough in with intention and purpose. Each wrestler has a unique quality and talent that balances out our program, which is exactly what we need.

"They are dedicated, talented, funny, smart, self-motivated and incredible people that you would want to surround yourself with. We are excited to chase some dreams with this group and have fun while doing so!"

The newcomers represent nearly every weight class from 103 through 207. Eleven states are represented, showcasing a truly national recruiting effort.

The incoming class joins a Lehigh group that enjoyed an outstanding debut campaign as a varsity program in 2025-26. The Mountain Hawks went 15-2 in duals, captured a NCAA Super Region 2 team title and finished sixth at the inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling Championship.

Reese Adams – 124 – Merrick, N.Y./Sanford Calhoun – Arts and Sciences
County champion in 2026… two-time state place winner… runner-up in 2026, fifth in 2024… three-time national team member… placed fifth at the U.S. Open… freestyle state champion and three-time finalist… also played soccer, volleyball and softball.

Alex Alli – 160 – Columbus, Ohio/Ohio Connections Academy – Arts and Sciences
Five-time USA age group national team member… two-time USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week… 2026 U23 Pan-American champion… 2026 Grand Prix of Spain champion.

Ava Fodera – 110 – Poway, Calif./Poway – Arts and Sciences
Five-time high school All-American… three-time CIF champion… two-time Masters champion… four-time all-conference… two-time state place winner… 2025 state finalist… 2026 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Carolina Hattala – 207 – Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown – Arts and Sciences
Two-time PIAA state champion at 190… ranked No. 4 nationally at 190 by FloWrestling… PA national team member… three-time Beast of the East Champion… two-time Super 32 finalist… four-time all-league.

Sarah Henckel – 160 – Southbury, Conn./Blair Academy – Integrated Business and Engineering
Three-time National Prep champion… two-time Who's Number One competitor… U17 Pan-American champion… four-time Fargo All-American… Fargo champion and three-time runner-up.

Ryen Hickey – 145 – Golden, Colo./Chatfield – Health
Two-time state champion… U17 national team member… high school showcase national champion and runner-up.

Zorina Johnson – 131 – Portland, Ore./Ida B. Wells – Arts and Sciences
Three-time state champion… junior folkstyle national champion… junior national freestyle finalist… U17 women's nationals finalist… played three years of varsity football… also competed in swimming, track and field, soccer and gymnastics… valedictorian of high school class.

Lina Lockard – 145 – Brooklyn, N.Y./Brooklyn Tech – Arts and Sciences
Six-time New York City Champion… first-ever four-time freestyle city champion… three-time state champion… Mayor's Cup Champion in 2023… two-time HSCA All-American… two-time Eastern States placer… four-time MVP… two-time Most Outstanding Wrestler… ranked ninth pound-for-pound in New York State class of 2026… Brooklyn Tech Female Athlete of the Year… PSAL Wingate Award winner.

Teagan McGuinness – 180 – Endicott, N.Y./Union Endicott – Integrated Business and Engineering
New York state champion at 185 in 2026… state runner-up as a junior… three-time section champion… U23 World Team Trials place winner… two-time freestyle and Greco-Roman state champion… also played volleyball and basketball in high school.

Phoenix Molina – 207 – Sadorus, Ill/Unity – Arts and Sciences
Three-time Athlete of the Week… first team all-area… placed first, second and third at IHSA Tournament… third place at U16 Nationals… went undefeated in folkstyle as a senior (34-0).

Natalie Radecki – 110 – Newark, Del./Caravel Academy – Arts and Sciences
Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award… U17 Pan-American champion and Outstanding Wrestler… 2025 Fargo Junior National Champion… Lady Klippan Open champion… first and only girl to place twice at DIAA Boys State Tournament… Beast of the East Champion… four-time NHSCA All-American… four-time AAU All-American… DIAA first team Scholar-Athlete… also competed in cross country where she was all-county and all-state.

Charlie Wylie – 103 – Montague, N.J./Port Jervis – Health
Two-time state champion… four-time section champion… Fargo champion… Pan-American champion.
