PRINCETON, N.J. – The fall season for Lehigh men's tennis continued this past weekend at ITA Regionals on the campus of Princeton University. Ofer Hacohen, Sean Jaeger, Jackson Morash and Alex Van Lumich competed in both doubles and singles competition for the Mountain Hawks.

The tournament began for Lehigh on Thursday with qualifying singles for Hacohen, Jaeger and Morash. Jaeger dropped his first match 6-4, 6-4 to Petar Belosevic of Mercyhurst, eliminating him from singles play. Morash was also bested in his opening round match to Temple's Maj Najvirt Kolaric in a close 7-5, 6-4 affair. Hacohen found success in the qualifying rounds, winning his first match in two sets and his second in a three-setter over Rider's Axel Engstrom to advance to the main draw.

On Friday, the Mountain Hawks began the day with doubles competition. Hacohen and Morash were the first to play, dropping an 8-3 decision to a team from the host Princeton. Jaeger and Van Lumich were victorious in their first-round match, beating a duo from Rider 8-6. The pair were then narrowly defeated 8-7 by a team from Columbia University.

In main draw singles, Van Lumich faced off against James Vincent of LIU in his first-round matchup, earning a 6-1, 6-3 victory. In the second round, Van Lumich lost in two sets to Princeton's Paul Inchauspe. After qualifying for the main draw, Hacohen fell 6-1, 7-5 to his opponent from Columbia.

The Mountain Hawks will host the ITA Conference Masters Event at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center/Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts on October 24-26. All Patriot League schools will compete in a tournament that will send one singles competitor and one doubles team from the league to a national tournament in San Diego from November 6-9.
