Inside Lacrosse Names Hunt An Honorable Mention All-American

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Continuing to roll in the postseason honors, senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt was named an honorable mention All-American, Inside Lacrosse announced Thursday. This is the second honorable mention All-America nod the 2024 Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year has received, following USA Lacrosse's recognition last Thursday.
The first Mountain Hawk to be named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year, Hunt sat atop three different statistical categories across the Patriot League. The Philadelphiav native sits first in save percentage (.495), saves (183) and saves per game (10.76), landing in sixth place in the NCAA in save percentage, fifth in saves and ranking seventh in saves per game.
The first team All-Patriot League goalkeeper led Lehigh in ground balls with 47 and ranked third in caused turnovers with 13. In Lehigh's 17 games, Hunt recorded nine games with at least 10 saves.
The senior rounded out her career in the top five all-time career saves at Lehigh, surpassing the 500 career saves mark this season, compiling 568 total saves. Hunt was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week three times and earned honorable mention nods twice.
Lehigh wrapped up the 2024 season with an overall record of 8-9 and 3-6 in Patriot League play.
