BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Two members of the Lehigh women's tennis team have been named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District Team, announced Tuesday. Juniors Hamsa Javagal and Allyce Gaborik  will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot with the Academic All-America teams to be announced in early June.

Student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key contributor in their sport. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for Academic All-District or Academic All-America honors.

Gaborik is a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection after posting a 3.62 GPA in finance. Gaborik was 6-13 in singles play at the No. 3 spot while also posting a 10-11 record in doubles play alongside Maggie Forkner.

The Mountain Hawks finished the season 14-8, tying the program record for the most wins, which was set in 1988. Lehigh also made it to its first Patriot League semifinal appearance since 2018.
