Road Competition Continues With Trip To Boston University

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's lacrosse team heads up north for a matchup with Boston University at noon on Saturday.
Lehigh dropped a 19-7 Patriot League contest with Army last Saturday at West Point, N.Y. Graduate student Gabby Schneider led the Mountain Hawks with two goals and two assists while senior Olivia Memeger contributed two goals.
Senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt was tabbed a Patriot League weekly honorable mention after averaging 11.5 saves per game including 14 in the 15-8 win over Bucknell on March 27. Across both games, Hunt tallied seven ground balls and one caused turnover.
Boston University heads into Saturday on a seven game losing streak with an overall record of 4-7 and 0-4 in Patriot League play. Thus far, the Terriers' four league losses have been against Bucknell (16-13), then No. 18 Navy (20-9), Army (17-7) and most recently Lafayette (10-9 2OT) on March 30. Hannah Tillier leads the Terriers in points with 29 (20 goals, 9 assists), while Elle Stevenson ranks second with 26 (22 goals, 4 assists).
The all-time series it knotted up 5-5, with Lehigh picking up a 13-9 win last season. Graduate student Emma Eberhardt (4 goals, 1 assist) and senior Olivia Memeger (3 goals, 2 assists) both recorded five points in the victory.
