Mountain Hawks Welcome Lafayette In The Rivalry

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's lacrosse program welcomes crosstown foe Lafayette at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in The Rivalry presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute.
The Mountain Hawks are in a four way tie for fifth place in the Patriot League. A win over the Leopards would increase Lehigh's ability to clinch a spot in the tournament.
Last time out, Lehigh dropped a 15-14 road contest to Colgate in the final minutes. Gabby Schneider and Olivia Memeger both recorded five goals in the loss.
Lafayette is 4-11 overall and 1-7 in Patriot League play, earning a 10-9 win in double-overtime versus Boston University on March 30. Abby Romano leads the Leopards with 34 points off 21 goals and 13 assists.
Lehigh leads the all-time series 32-22, defeating the Leopards 15-3 last season. Schneider led the Mountain Hawks with a five point performance off four goals and one assist.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with opening draw set for 6 p.m.
