Hardy Named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's swimming and diving graduate student Sarah Hardy has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team, announced Tuesday afternoon by the league. Hardy was one of 12 student-athletes to be recognized by the league.
This is Hardy's second straight year landing on the Academic All-Patriot League team. The Edison, N.J. native carries a 3.84 cumulative graduate GPA in business analytics and finished with a 3.22 undergraduate GPA in finance.
Hardy became the first Lehigh swimmer under Rob Herb to win two gold medals at the Patriot League Championships after winning the 200-yard butterfly and the 400-yard IM, setting school records in both of those events as well. Hardy scored a total of 88 points at the Patriot League Championships, which was the fourth-most points scored at the championship meet. Hardy is a two-time first team All-Patriot League honoree.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor. The Academic All-Patriot League team for swimming has 12 student-athletes, and is voted on by the league's sports information directors.
