Mountain Hawks Set to Welcome Saint Joseph's and Hofstra

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Winners of its last two matches, Lehigh women's tennis hosts two more matches at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center this upcoming weekend, starting with a matchup on Friday against Saint Joseph's at 4 p.m., followed by a match against Hofstra on 12 p.m. on Sunday.
The Mountain Hawks come into the upcoming weekend with an overall record of 3-1 after defeating Villanova 4-3 and besting Rider 4-1 last weekend.
First-year Hannah Lezter secured Lehigh's win against the Wildcats in three sets at the No.6 spot, defeating Villanova's Maddie HIlls 7-6, 6-7, 7-5.
The Hawks are 0-2 this season and are coming off a 7-0 loss to Patriot League foe Navy.
Hofstra is 2-2 after winning its last two matches against Seton Hall and Marist. Before heading to Lehigh on Sunday, the Pride will play Providence on Saturday.
Senior Megha Dania won all four of her matches last week to improve to 3-1 in singles play and 2-2 in doubles play. The duo of Anushka Dania and Megha Dania are 2-2 in doubles play this season.
Audrey Harrington and Hamsa Javgal have had a strong start to doubles play, winning all four of their home matches.
Lehigh and Hofstra last played in 2022, where the Mountain Hawks fell 4-3. The last time the Mountain Hawks played Saint Joseph's was in 2019, and Lehigh won 7-0.
Lehigh will close out the six-match home stand on Feb. 17 against Johns Hopkins at 4 p.m.
