BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's track and field kicked off the indoor season on Friday and Saturday in their own backyard at Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse.
"It is always exciting to open up the season and a lot of our women had a strong meet," said associate head coach Brooke Astor. "We had a handful of event winners, which can set the tone for the upcoming meets. Our women have done a great job in practice, pushing one another on a daily basis so it is really fun to see that hard work paying off."
"A few athletes had some impressive performances with new personal records, so we are excited to see their season's progress," said Astor. "We have a great group of proven talent mixed with strong first-years, so it should be a great combination."
