Four Mountain Hawks Named to Patriot League All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. Lehigh men's soccer had four players land on the All-Patriot League team, as announced Thursday afternoon by the league.
Senior midfielder Perry Kingson was named to the first team All-Patriot League, while junior forward Yusef Gueye, junior midfielder Noah Levy and sophomore defender Landon Bealer were named to the third team All-Patriot League. This is Kingson's second All-League honors after being named to the third team last season and the first all-league honors for Bealer, Gueye and Levy.
Kingson had a marvelous season in the Brown and White, leading the way with a team-high of 15 points after recording five goals and five assists. Kingson's 15 points were the second-most in the Patriot League this season and his five assists were the most in the league. Kingson netted the game-winning goal in Lehigh's 2-1 win over Marist. He has also recorded at least one point in eight of Lehigh's 18 games. The Accra, Ghana native was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week twice this season.Â
Bealer anchored the Lehigh backline all season, helping the team record three shutouts. The Coopersburg, Pa., native played and started in all 18 games. Bealer also played 1,575 minutes this season, the second-most on the team.Â
Gueye recorded a career-high of six points this season after scoring three goals, including a game-winning goal in the 3-2 win over Army. The Ridgewood, N.J., native recorded a team-high 50% shot on goal percentage and 32 shots, the sixth-most in the Patriot League - only behind teammate Kingson, who finished with 34.
Levy played a strong role in Lehigh's midfield, playing 1,184 minutes. The junior captain was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week one time this season for his game-saving tackles. Levy also helped anchor a midfield unit that played a role in leading Lehigh to three shutouts.Â
The Mountain Hawks return to action on Saturday in the Patriot League quarterfinals against Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. at 6 pm. Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+
