BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With the indoor track and field season right around the corner, Lehigh has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 indoor season. The Mountain Hawks will compete three times in Rauch Fieldhouse this winter, along with several trips to New York City and Philadelphia, in preparation for the Patriot League Championships at Navy.
Â
"I am excited to announce our indoor schedule," said head coach Khayla Atte. "With a group of proven returners and young talent in our underclass athletes, it looks to be a strong season."
Â
The indoor season kicks off with the annual Fast Times Before Finals meet, Dec. 6-7 in Rauch Fieldhouse. That will be the only first semester meet for the Brown and White.
Â
The 2025 portion of the schedule begins with the Wagner Invitational, Jan. 3 at the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, N.J.
Â
The next two weeks will see the Mountain Hawks off to Philadelphia, for the Penn Select (Jan. 11) and Quaker Invitational (Jan. 18) meets, hosted by Penn. Lehigh will also have a contingent competing at Rauch Fieldhouse on Jan. 18 with Moravian hosting its indoor meet in Lehigh's facility.
Â
Lehigh will head back to New York on Jan. 25 for Columbia's Dr. Sander Invitational/Columbia Challenge.
Â
The Mountain Hawks will open February with the annual indoor Lafayette dual meet in the Rivalry, presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, at Rauch Fieldhouse on Feb. 1. Lehigh has swept the last 10 indoor rivalry dual meets, with the women's team having won 15 straight indoor duals against the Leopards.
Â
February continues with a return to the Ocean Breeze Complex for Fast Track Nationals, Feb. 7. Lehigh will then compete in Widener's Indoor Classic, with throwing events set for Feb. 14 at Widener and the remainder of the meet to be contested at Penn on Feb. 15. The regular season concludes with the Bucknell Tune Up, Feb. 21 in Lewisburg, Pa.
Â
"We are happy to return to a few familiar meets and as always look forward to hosting the Fast Times Before Finals meet along with the Lehigh-Lafayette Dual Meet," Atte said. "Our team is eager to take the trip to Penn to check out the newly-built Ott Center. This facility will provide another great competitive environment for our program."
Â
Navy will host the Patriot League Championships, Mar. 1-2 at Wesley Brown Field House in Annapolis, Md. Both the ECAC/IC4A meet and the NCAA Championships will be in Boston the weekend of March 7-9.
Â
"We have been very hard at work this school year and are looking forward to opening up our season in December," Atte said.
