Kingson Garners Patriot League Midfielder of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - For the second straight week, Lehigh men's soccer midfielder Perry Kingson was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week.
After earning his first Patriot League Weekly award last Monday, Kingson followed that up with another incredible week, leading Lehigh to an undefeated week as the Mountain Hawks defeated Marist 2-1 and tied Bucknell 2-2. Kingson scored the game-winning goal against the Red Foxes as he connected on a penalty kick in the 86th minute. He also tallied an assist on Lehigh's first goal.
The Accra, Ghana native scored another important goal against the Bison, which came off of a penalty kick. Kingson is currently second in the Patriot League in points (11) after scoring four goals while dishing out three assists.
Junior forward Beckkett Wenger earned an honorable mention on Monday after recording two goals in Lehigh's two games this week.
The Mountain Hawks will host American on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Friday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
