
Lehigh to Face La Salle on Tuesday in Philly

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's soccer returns to action on Tuesday with a matchup against La Salle in Philadelphia at 6 p.m.
The Mountain Hawks are searching for its first win of the season after falling 2-1 against Saint John's and then tying Temple 1-1 and Columbia 1-1.
The Explorers come into Tuesday's game with a 2-0-1 record. La Salle tied Stonehill 3-3 in the season opener and then defeated Army 1-0 and Manhattan 2-0. Americo Pereria has scored two goals to lead the way for La Salle.
Randy Burkhart got the start in net and played all 90 minutes in the season opener for La Salle, but Filip Sabatti has started the last two games for the Explorers.
Through Lehigh's three games this season, all goals have been scored by three different Mountain Hawks in two different ways. The first goal was scored by Trey Sheeler on a corner kick. Thomas Robertson and Perry Kingson both scored the Mountain Hawks latest goals on a penalty kick.
While Lehigh is 2-2 from the penalty kick, it's also how Columbia was able to find the equalizer in the 76th minute as the Lions were fouled in the box.
Lehigh is 9-17-3 all-time against La Salle. The last time these two teams met was last year at the Ulrich Sports Complex, where the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Jack Sarkos scored both goals for the Mountain Hawks.
