Â
The draw puts Lehigh at 3-0-1 in Patriot League play and 3-3-5 overall.
Â
"We struggled to play the way that we wanted to play against them and they did a good job of disrupting us with their energy and their spirit," said head coach Dean Koski. "When you spot a team three goals its really hard to carve out wins, so I was certainly pleased with our ability to fight back from a 3-1 deficit on the road.
Â
"We can certainly grow and build on that but I'm somewhat disappointed that we put ourselves in that situation. We made some mistakes early on and it cost us, and we'll have to work on that to get better but we'll take the point on the road against that team, in a place that's always been hard for us to carve out results."
Â
Holy Cross (1-4-6, 0-1-3 PL) took the lead in the 17th minute on a goal by Jude Jakes-McKay. In the 31st minute a no-call on a foul against Lehigh in the box was changed to a penalty for the Mountain Hawks on review, with Robertson converting to pull the Mountain Hawks level.

Gabe Raphael's shot from distance took a deflection off a Lehigh defender and went in to but the hosts up 2-1 at the break, and then Archie Hatcher converted a penalty 1:39 into the second half to give the Crusaders a 3-1 advantage.
Â
Another Holy Cross foul in the box against sophomore Luciano Larrea just before the hour mark led to Robertson netting his second of the game and team-leading fourth of the season.
Â
Coughlin pulled Lehigh level in the 82nd minute with a shot from the left side of the box, assisted by junior Aiden Gonzalez and Larrea.

"Huge saves by Anton just to make sure we got out of there with the draw," Koski said. "It came off some poor decisions by us with the ball when we had a really good opportunity to attack them in what would've been a 3-v-1 situation. Some of our more experienced players didn't have great days, but we'll learn and grow from it, but, um, on to the next."
Â
Shots favored Lehigh 7-6, while the Mountain Hawks had the only two corners of the match.
Â
The Mountain Hawks are back in action Friday night when they host American at 6 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
