Gatelein Lands on 2023 NFHCA Division I Senior Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior midfielder Julia Gatelein was one of 38 student-athletes named to the NFHCA Senior Team, the association announced on Wednesday afternoon.

A 2023 All-Patriot League first team honoree, Gatelein was previously named to the Preseason All-Patriot League Team. The Haddon Heights, N.J. native also earned first team all-league honors last season and second team laurels as a first-year.Â

The midfielder scored four goals and dished out seven assists including the game-winner in overtime versus Rider on Senior Day. Gatelein also tallied one goal apiece in the wins over Colgate and Ball State. Over her four-year career, Gatelein started and played in 60 games, logging 3,418 total minutes, scoring 10 goals and contributing 15 assists in her career.
