
Temple Earns 4-1 Decision Over Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh field hockey team continued its 2025 campaign with a 4-1 loss to Temple on Sunday at Ulrich Field. Sunday's game was the program's Pink Game presented by Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute.

Temple got on the board at 11:01 in the first quarter. The Owls capitalized on a deflection off a penalty corner to take a 1-0 lead through the first half.

At 10:53 in the third quarter, the Owls struck again off a straight shot on a penalty corner, increasing their lead to 2-0.

The Owls weren't done scoring in the third quarter, as Mara Lenting scored a deflection at the far post to give Temple a 3-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

At 6:01, Kiki Mes scored for the Mountain Hawks, as Lehigh trailed 3-1.

Temple earned its fourth goal with five minutes left in the game as the Owls held on to win 4-1
