
Lehigh to Face Bucknell in Regular Season Finale

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's soccer hosts Bucknell at the Ulrich Sports Complex in the regular season finale on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Wednesday's game is a must-win game for the Mountain Hawks as they look to punch their ticket into the Patriot League Tournament.Â
In order to get into the tournament, Lehigh needs to beat Bucknell, and Holy Cross has to beat Colgate.Â
Lehigh comes into the game with a 3-9-5 record (2-4-2 PL), and Bucknell is 1-10-4 (0-6-2 PL).Â
The Mountain Hawks defeated Holy Cross 2-1 on Oct. 28. Perry Kingson and Athanasios Cosse both recorded goals for the Mountain Hawks. Beckett Wenger had Lehigh's two assists and earned Patriot League honorable mentions on Monday.Â
Blake Koski also earned honorable mention honors after tallying seven saves in Lehigh's win. Koski is third in the league with a 72.3% save percentage.Â
The Bison are on a three-game scoring drought. Bucknell won its first game of the season against Mount St. Mary's but have tied or lost every game since. Bucknell held Lafayette to a 0-0 draw in its most recent game on Oct. 28.Â
Charlie Holmes leads the way for Bucknell with seven points (3G, 1A). Freddie Lapworth has seen most time in action as the goalkeeper for the Bison. Lapworth holds a 51.6% save percentage.Â
The all-time series is tied 30-30-10. The Bison have won the last two meetings.Â
Wednesday's game will be streamed on ESPN+. If Lehigh gets into the Patriot League Tournament, the Mountain Hawks will play a Patriot League Quarterfinal game on Saturday.Â
