Mountain Hawks Fall to Siena, 5-2

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men's tennis team dropped a tough one to Siena on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks were unable to hang onto their momentum from last weekend's win, falling 5-2 at Lewis Tennis Center. 

Siena started off the match strong, winning the doubles point early. At the No. 3 spot, juniors Matt Kleiman and Michael Bukhalo picked up a win in doubles against Siena's Dante Russo and Maxwell Acri. Bukhalo earned his first career start and win today for Lehigh. 

Trailing 2-1 going into singles play, Lehigh lost its first singles match. At the No. 4 spot, Kleiman picked up his second win of the day. The junior defeated Siena's Maxwell Acri 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. 

Lehigh went on to lose the next two singles matches before senior Gary Fishkin picked up his fourth singles win of the season. Fishkin defeated Darek Kuczynski from Siena 8-3 at the No. 5 spot. 

The Mountain Hawks will look to move past Saturday's loss before they take on Saint Francis on Sunday. Lehigh will host the Red Flash at 10 a.m. on Sunday in its final home match before heading to South Carolina for spring break.
