Lehigh Sending Six to ITA Regionals at Penn

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Members of the Lehigh women's tennis team are headed to Philadelphia for the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by Penn, Oct. 1-3 at the Hamlin/Hecht Tennis Centers.
Six Mountain Hawks are expected to compete in this, the third of four events on Lehigh's fall calendar.
Mountain Hawks expected to compete in singles include juniors Ella Imhof and Junmoke James, sophomore Rachel Buchinsky and freshmen Hamsa Javagal and Allyce Gaborik.
In doubles play, Lehigh will enter teams including Imhof and James, Buchinsky and Javagal and Gaborik and senior Anshika Singh.
Last week, Lehigh hosted Army, Colgate and Fairfield for the two-day Lehigh Invitational. The Mountain Hawks finished the weekend with a 6-3 doubles record and an 11-9 singles record.
Lehigh posted winning marks against Colgate and Fairfield in both singles and doubles play.
Following the ITA Regionals, Lehigh will close out its fall slate at the West Point Invite in New York, Oct. 15-17.
