BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Lehigh men's soccer will welcome a new member of the staff for the 2019 season. Lehigh University has named Chris Tadley the new Director of Soccer Operations for the Lehigh Men's Soccer program. He will take the lead on video analysis, growing the ID Clinics and camps, while learning the wide range of responsibilities associated with a Division I soccer program.
Tadley, the Cherry Hill, N.J. native, comes to Lehigh from Albright College in Reading, Pa. where he served as the men's soccer head coach for the previous three seasons. Before he became head coach, he was the Lions women's assistant coach from 2012-15 and also the men's assistant in 2012-13. Tadley was a four year letter-winner at Albright, playing in 57 games and totaling six goals including a pair of game-winners.
"This position is a wonderful opportunity for me to get into Division I athletics," said Tadley. "I wasn't fortunate enough to be able to play soccer collegiately at a Division I school, but my heart and my passion is very much on this level.
"This is the best opportunity for me to be in and I'm very excited to play for a program like Lehigh that has so much history behind it. But I'm so excited about it and the amount of energy in the athletics office by itself is amazing and it's what I'm looking for in the long haul."
Head Coach Dean Koski is excited for Tadley to become a part of his program, especially with head coaching experience at the college level.
"We're really fortunate to have somebody with Chris's background as a coach and as an educator which he has been doing for quite some time now," said Koski. "The Director of Soccer Operations is going to be very important to growing our program, systems, ID clinics and camps and making sure that we are doing everything we can to improve the administrative side."
