BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the 28th straight time, the Lehigh men's swimming and diving team captured a victory over rival Lafayette on Friday night. Different year, same story, as the Mountain Hawks throttled the Leopards, 218-69.

At the conclusion of the night, the Brown and White won 14-of-16 events.

"I have thankfully been a part of 16 years of Lehigh-Lafayette meets, but this one brought so much excitement and energy, it was so thrilling," said head coach Rob Herb.

The men's team shattered five records on the night, adding to the already glorious ending. Walker Wilson and Glenn Lasco each tallied three total wins on the night, while Teddy Smith, Connor Sept, Tyler Keller (diving), Matt Feryo and Owen Thomas all earned two wins.

Both relay teams broke a pool record against Lafayette. In the 200 medley relay, the Lehigh team of Greg Giannella, Sept, Smith and Thomas captured the record with a time of 1:31.91, while the 800 free relay team of Collin Hanlon, Wilson, Feryo and Lasco broke the record at 6:44.47.

In the 1000 free, the senior Wilson broke the team and pool record with a win at 9:17.62, while Lasco broke a team record in the 200 free with a time of 1:38.88. Rounding out the record breakers, in the 100 IM, Sept shattered a pool record with a time of 52.45.

In diving, Keller took first in both the 1 and 3-meter dives. In the 1-meter dive, Keller finished with a score of 284.09, followed a score of 377.50 in the 3-meter dive.

"Honestly, our team just unloaded their energy and their race fury on Lafayette," added Herb. "Tonight was just an amazing night for our student-athletes, the fans and the alumni."

Rounding out the night for Lehigh, freshman Andrew Sukach won the 200 fly with a time of 1:52.23, while Joey Rogers took first in the 50 free with a time of 21.16. In the 100 breast, Tyler Christ took second with a time of 58.22,

Up next, the women will gear up for a tough Rutgers Invitational on December 4. This four-day event will be held on the campus of Rutgers.
