Sibel Can and Paula Gonzalez will represent Lehigh at the ITA Regionals this weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Two members of the Lehigh women's tennis team are preparing to compete in the ITA Regional Championships this weekend on the campus of Army West Point. In all, over 37 teams will compete at Army West Point this weekend.
Sibel Can and Paula Gonzalez will participate in the main drawn singles, while also competing as a pair in main draw doubles.
Throughout three fall tournaments, Can has registered a 4-3 mark, while Gonzalez has tallied a 6-4 mark. In doubles, the Lehigh pair has been a force with a 7-3 record.
The format for the ITA Regionals will include qualifying on Thursday, main draws starting on Friday and will be best of three sets. Main draw doubles will follow after, and will be an eight-game pro set.
Junmoke James and Ella Imhof were alternates for the ITA, however will not compete due to the lack of dropouts.
