
Auyeung Earns Academic All-League Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's tennis senior Christina Auyeung has been named an Academic All-Patriot League selection as the Patriot League announced its end-of-the-season academic awards on Wednesday morning.
Auyeung caps her career as a two-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree as she also earned the honor as a junior. The Midland, Mich. native carries a 3.44 GPA as a marketing major and has posted a 3.2 or better in every semester throughout her career. Auyeung is a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and was tabbed an ITA Scholar-Athlete as a junior.
On the court, Auyeung was recently tabbed a First Team All-Patriot League selection for the fourth time in her illustrious career. This season, she paced Lehigh with 13 singles victories with an overall record of 13-8 and ended the year on a two-match win streak. She also posted a 2-0 record in two postseason matches this season.
Auyeung has been Lehigh's No. 1 singles and doubles player since day one on campus. She has posted double-digit singles victories each season, compiling a career record of 50-23, marking the most wins by a Lehigh player since the turn of the century. She also has compiled a superb record of 41-27 in doubles play throughout her career.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Patriot League awards, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen are not eligible for this honor.
