Lehigh Women Wrap Up Regular Season with Sweep of La Salle

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks closed out their regular season slate at home on Saturday with a 7-0 victory over La Salle inside Lewis Tennis Center. Lehigh posted its fourth 7-0 victory of the season to finish the regular season with a record of 9-8. The Explorers also closed out their regular season and did so with a record of 2-14.
The Mountain Hawks completely dominated the Explorers in nearly every single match as they swept the doubles competition and won every singles match in two sets or less.
Christina Auyeung closed out the regular season with a team-high 12 wins with a record of 12-4 following a 6-2, 6-0 win over Brittany Poje at the top flight.
Sibel Can and Jamie Campisi each picked up their 11th wins this season. Can improves to 11-6 with her 6-2, 6-0 victory at the second flight, while Campisi improves to 11-5 with an 8-0 victory at the fifth flight.
Grace Lin scored a two-set shutout with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Ally Santerelli at the fourth spot. Lin closes the regular season with a record of 7-9.
Cassidy Cruz gets to 10 wins for the third time in her career following her 6-3, 6-2 victory over Jade Smith. Cruz finishes the regular season with a record of 10-7.
Kirstin Godau completed the Sweep for Lehigh as she scored an 8-4 win over Maansi Malhorta at the sixth flight. Godau remains unblemished in limited action this season with a record of 3-0.
Lehigh will return to action on Friday in a Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal match at home.
