Lehigh women’s lacrosse season opener vs. No. 6 Penn State moved to Friday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - With frigid weather in the forecast this weekend, the Lehigh women's lacrosse season opener against No. 6 Penn State originally scheduled for this Saturday at 3 p.m. has been moved up a day to Friday. Opening draw on Friday is set for 3:30 p.m. and can be seen live, for free, on the Patriot League Network.
Saturday's forecast high temperate is in the teens with winds nearing 20 miles per hour while Friday's forecast is in the lower 30s with winds around 11 miles per hour.
Lehigh and Penn State will be meeting for a second consecutive season and sixth time in the last seven year. Last year, the Mountain Hawks opened their season at Penn State, falling 15-7.
