Lehigh earns NSCAA Team Academic Award for sixth-straight season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the sixth season in a row, the Lehigh men's soccer team was recognized for its continued success in the classroom as the Mountain Hawks garnered the 2014-15 NSCAA Team Academic Award, as announced by the NSCAA on Wednesday. Lehigh was one of only 305 men's teams across Division I, II and III honored for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

The Mountain Hawks finished the 2014-15 school year with a team cumulative grade point average of 3.02.

Lehigh continues to impress in the classroom, as ten Mountain Hawks earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll a season ago. Current senior Jamie Luchini is a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection.

The Mountain Hawks begin Patriot League play Saturday against Holy Cross. Kickoff from the Ulrich Sports Complex is set for 1 p.m.
