BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With the Patriot League Tournament just over two weeks away, Lehigh's women's tennis team will look to build momentum for the postseason with four Patriot League matches in a six day span beginning Friday when the Mountain Hawks face defending league champion Boston University in a neutral site match at West Point, N.Y.

Lehigh owns a 7-6 record and an 0-1 mark within the Patriot League. The Mountain Hawks lost their league opener to Navy 5-2 and have not played since defeating Moravian 7-0 on April 1. Lehigh has been led by freshman standout Christina Auyeung, who has posted a 9-2 overall singles record at the No. 1 flight. The Michigan native is also 6-5 in doubles playing alongside sophomore Jamie Campisi.

The Mountain Hawks will begin their streak of Patriot League opponents with Boston University on Friday. Similar to Lehigh, the Terriers are hovering around a .500 season, registering an overall record of 8-7, including a 1-0 mark within the conference.  The difference is that five of the Terriers' seven losses have come against teams ranked in the top 100 nationally. Boston University is coming off of a strong 4-3 win against the University of Connecticut in which freshman Iryna Kostirko clinched the come-from-behind victory with her three set singles win at the No. 3 flight. BU will also face Lafayette on Friday before closing out the regular season against Army on Saturday.

Following their match against Boston University, Lehigh will travel to Hamilton, New York, to face-off against Colgate on Saturday. On the season, the Raiders have posted a 5-10 overall record, including a 1-2 league mark. On Saturday, Colgate last played on April 4, dropping a 7-0 match to Bucknell and will be looking to snap a five match losing streak when they compete against Lehigh Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Mountain Hawks will be off for two days before they resume competition on Tuesday, April 14 against Bucknell at home. After beginning the season with six straight losses, the Bison have stormed back, winning six of their last nine matches to amass a 6-9 record. Bucknell is coming off a strong performance against both Colgate and Lafayette in which the team shut out their opponents 7-0 and 5-0, respectively. With those victories, Bucknell sports an unblemished 2-0 record within the Patriot League. The Bison will visit Loyola and Navy this weekend before Tuesday's match in Bethlehem.

Tuesday's match will be the final home match for senior captain Abby Farrell. The former All-Patriot League and Academic All-Patriot League performer is 4-7 in singles this season.

Lehigh will conclude this week's matches against Loyola on Wednesday, April 15 in Baltimore. The Greyhounds have experienced success this season, posting an 8-5 overall record. Loyola has also been led by a freshman, Amanda Lanciano, who two weeks ago won the Patriot League Women's Tennis Player of the Week after registering a 4-0 record. Lanciano paired with sophomore Ania Krawiec in No. 1 flight doubles to defeat both La Salle and Colgate opponents. With the wins, the tandem advances to 11-2 in doubles competition this season. Loyola will host four matches, including Patriot League foes Navy and Bucknell, before Lehigh's visit on Wednesday.

Following this stretch of four matches in six days, Lehigh will close out the regular season with matches at Army (April 18) and Lafayette (April 20).

Friday's match with Boston University will begin at 9:30 a.m. from Army's Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
