
Mountain Hawks to spend spring break in Florida for four matches

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After having their last two matches postponed due to weather, the Lehigh women's tennis team is looking forward to better weather and a chance to play outdoors as the Mountain Hawks head to Florida for four matches over spring break.
Lehigh will visit Stetson on Monday in Deland, Fla. before squaring off against Quinnipiac and St. Cloud State on Tuesday. The Mountain Hawks will close out their trip with a Wednesday match against James Madison.
The Mountain Hawks last played on February 15, a 6-1 loss to Stony Brook at the Lewis Tennis Center. Lehigh is 3-3 on the season with wins over Niagara, Saint Francis (Pa.) and Fairleigh Dickinson. Matches against Mount St. Mary's and Rider were either cancelled or postponed due to foul weather.
Freshmen have led the way for the Mountain Hawks with Kirstin Godau and Briana Maravich owning 4-2 singles records, while Christina Auyeung is 3-1 at the top singles flight. Lehigh has juggled its doubles pairings with sophomore Jamie Campisi leading the way with a 4-2 doubles mark.
Monday's Lehigh-Stetson match is set for a 5 p.m. start. On Tuesday, Lehigh will play Quinnipiac at 12:30 p.m. in Winter Park, before returning to Orlando to face St. Cloud State at 7 p.m. The trip concludes with a 1 p.m. match against James Madison Wednesday in Orlando.
Following spring break, Lehigh will return home for three matches, beginning Saturday March 21 when the Mountain Hawks host Villanova.
