Auyeung wins at No. 1 singles as Lehigh falls 6-1 to James Madison

ORLANDO, Fla. – Freshman Christina Auyeung was a winner at No. 1 singles for Lehigh's only point as the Mountain Hawks closed out their spring break trip with a 6-1 loss to James Madison Wednesday afternoon. The Dukes swept the doubles point and won the bottom five singles flights to drop the Mountain Hawks to 5-5 on the season.
James Madison cruised to the doubles point, dropping just four total games across the three matches.
In singles play, the Dukes claimed the bottom five flights, all in straight sets. The clinching point came at No. 5 singles as Kimmy Herrock won 6-1, 6-4 over freshman Kirstin Godau.
Auyeung continued her strong play out of the top spot with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Rachel Nelson. Sophomore Jamie Campisi was competitive in a 7-5, 6-4 loss to Dylan Owens at the No. 3 flight.
The Mountain Hawks will be off until Saturday March 21 when they host Villanova at 10 a.m. inside the Lewis Tennis Center.
