Forrest earns third Rookie of the Week award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's soccer freshman Mark Forrest has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after helping the Mountain Hawks secure a spot in the Patriot League Tournament, as announced by the league on Monday.
Forrest scored both goals in Lehigh's 2-0 win over rival Lafayette Thursday. The forward scored in 32nd and 66th minutes to help Lehigh secure its second consecutive ten-plus win season. Forrest leads Lehigh, and is tied for the league lead, with eight goals. He sits fourth in the league in points behind eight goals and three assists.
Sophomore keeper Joe Bogan earned honorable mention recognition for the league's Goalkeeper of the Week award. He tallied five saves and secured his seventh shutout of the season against the Leopards Thursday before making three stops in a 1-1 double-overtime draw against Bucknell Saturday.
Forrest and the playoff-bound Mountain Hawks return to action Saturday when Lehigh heads to American at 12 p.m. for its final regular-season game.
