Lehigh to host Patriot League Kickoff this weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh women's tennis team will host its final home event of the fall season this weekend when the Mountain Hawks welcome Lafayette, Army West Point and Colgate for the three-day Patriot League Kickoff on the Ulrich Varsity Courts Friday through Sunday.

Lehigh opens the event with doubles play against Lafayette at 4 p.m. Friday. Action continues Saturday against Army West Point, with singles set for 10 a.m. and doubles play slated to begin at 12 p.m. Lehigh then faces Colgate in doubles at 1 p.m. The Mountain Hawks will play Colgate in singles at 11 a.m. Sunday before finishing competition with singles against Lafayette at 2 p.m. Each team will play each other in eight singles and four doubles matches.

The Patriot League Kickoff will serve as Lehigh's penultimate event of the fall season. The Mountain Hawks most recently competed in the Lehigh Fall Invite two weeks ago against LIU Brooklyn, Rider, Longwood and Monmouth. Leading the way was freshman Grace Lin, who went 3-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play with junior Cassidy Cruz. Junior Jamie Campisi also finished the weekend with a 3-0 record in singles action.

Following this weekend's action, select Mountain Hawks will travel to Dartmouth for ITA Regionals next weekend for the fall finale.
