Mountain Hawks impress at Patriot League Kickoff

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its final home event of the fall season, the Lehigh women's tennis team put together a strong outing at the Patriot League Kickoff. The Mountain Hawks faced Army West Point, Colgate and Lafayette during the three-day event that wrapped up Sunday and Lehigh finished the weekend going 8-3 in doubles and 15-7 in singles play.
Freshman Grace Lin, junior Jessica Graham, and sophomores Abby Duddy and Kirstin Godau all finished the weekend unbeaten in singles play. The doubles team of Graham and sophomore Briana Maravich went 2-0 in doubles play.
The Mountain Hawks opened the Patriot League kickoff with doubles play against Lafayette Friday, sweeping all four matches against the Leopards. Lehigh and Lafayette faced off in singles Sunday with the Mountain Hawks earning wins in all six matches.
On Saturday, Army West Point was able to take three of four doubles matches from the Mountain Hawks before claiming six of nine singles matches. Lin, Duddy and Graham accounted for Lehigh's singles wins against the Black Knights.
The Mountain Hawks also took on Colgate Saturday, sweeping all three doubles matches and winning six of seven singles matches.

Lehigh wraps up its fall season next weekend when select Mountain Hawks head to ITA Regionals hosted by Dartmouth.
