Ten from men's swimming and diving named to Patriot League honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed ten swimmers and divers on the men's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll announced Tuesday. Junior Sean Brant led the Mountain Hawks with a 3.91 grade point average this past spring in his major of mechanical engineering.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Brant represented the Mountain Hawks on the Academic All-Patriot League team back in February.
Following close behind Brant was sophomore Sean Daugherty, who posted a 3.72 GPA in Lehigh's College of Business and Economics; and freshman Colin Smith, who registered 3.61 GPA in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Others that were honored included senior Alex Heintzelman, juniors Dan Bateman, Chris Campbell, Tim Parsons and Eric Sherwood, and freshmen Jacob Moyar and Justin White.
In total, 124 student-athletes across the league received Academic Honor Roll recognition in men's swimming and diving. Boston University's Cole Puchi was voted Scholar-Athlete of the Year back in February.
The Mountain Hawks finished fifth at the Patriot League Championships following a 6-4 dual meet season.
