BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After having Sunday's match at Saint Joseph's postponed due to low temperatures, the Lehigh women's tennis team will get back to work Wednesday as the Mountain Hawks kick off a stretch of five matches in nine days against Delaware. Following Wednesday's 4 p.m. match Lehigh will shift focus towards Patriot League play when the Mountain Hawks host Army in their league opener Friday and then head to Baltimore to battle Loyola on Sunday.

Two days after the match at Loyola, Lehigh will visit Bucknell, before the tough stretch concludes with a home match versus Monmouth on April 3.

Lehigh has won its last two matches, edging Villanova 4-3 and defeating Niagara March 15-16 to improve to 4-6 on the season.

Junior Abby Farrell leads Lehigh with six singles wins while senior Jenai Bilimoria owns the top doubles record at 5-5. Freshman Jamie Campisi recently returned to Lehigh's lineup after battling an injury has provided a spark, winning two of her three singles matches since returning to action.

Delaware enters Wednesday's match at 4-5 overall and 1-0 in the Colonial Athletic Association. The Blue Hens bounced back from losses to Rutgers and Villanova to defeat Duquesne 4-3 in their last match on Friday. Delaware has enjoyed recent success over Lehigh, defeating the Mountain Hawks by 7-0 scores in each of the last three seasons. Lehigh's last win against the Blue Hens was back in 2005 by a 5-2 score.

On Friday Lehigh opens Patriot League play against perennial power Army. The Black Knights have won the last ten Patriot League titles but were picked second behind Boston University in the league's preseason poll. Army is off to another strong start with a 16-1 overall record and a 3-0 league mark. The Black Knights opened league play with wins over Lafayette, Holy Cross and Colgate last weekend with all three wins coming by 7-0 scores.

Friday's match will begin at 2 p.m. from the Lewis Tennis Center.

The Mountain Hawks will hit the road on Sunday to face Patriot League newcomer Loyola. The Greyhounds are currently 3-2 overall and will visit Towson on Wednesday and host Lafayette on Saturday before Lehigh visits for a 10 a.m. match Sunday. Last weekend the Greyhounds lost their first-ever Patriot League match at Bucknell before posting non-league wins over St. Bonaventure (4-3) and UMES (7-0).

Lehigh and Loyola last met in 2012 with the Mountain Hawks claiming a 4-3 victory. The contest at Loyola will be the Mountain Hawks' first road match of the season.
