BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's soccer team will travel to Jersey City, N.J. to take on the Saint Peter's Peacocks at 4 p.m. on Tuesday evening. The Mountain Hawks are in search of their first win after dropping two close games to start the 2012 season including a 1-0 overtime loss to Stony Brook on Friday night. Lehigh holds a 7-2-0 all-time advantage over Saint Peter's which includes a 2-0 win last season in the midst of a five-game unbeaten streak.

Sophomore Ali Famili has paced the Lehigh offense this season, registering a team-leading five shots. He is followed by junior James Meyerkord and sophomore Brian Suchoski, who have recorded four shots apiece. The Mountain Hawks have shown improvement from their first game in which they recorded just one shot-on-goal against Hofstra to six shots-on-goal against Stony Brook. As the offense comes together, Lehigh will seek to couple goals with stellar defense to pursue its first win of 2012.
On the defensive side of the ball, junior goalkeeper Ciaran Nugent has made seven saves thus far for Lehigh and has collected a .700 save percentage throughout the young season.
Saint Peter's will enter tomorrow's game 1-1-0 after dropping its home opener to Sacred Heart on Thursday, 2-1. The Peacocks are led by sophomore forward Noah Sadaoui who has scored three goals in two games thus far in 2012, while set-up man Maged Alkasimi has assisted on two of Sadaoui's goals. All three of Sadaoui's goals came in the Peacocks' 3-1 win over Seton Hall on Aug. 24.
In 2011, Sadaoui was named to the All-MAAC second team and All-MAAC rookie team after scoring eight goals to lead the Peacocks during his freshman campaign.
Goalkeeper Carlos Suarez has allowed three goals but made 12 saves over the two games this season for the Peacocks. Saint Peter's has struggled early in games, allowing three first half goals this season but has shut out opponents in the second half.
