Saturday's Lehigh-Penn State swim meet cancelled

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh's scheduled swim meet at Penn State has been cancelled due to inclement weather which affected the Mountain Hawks ability to travel to Happy Valley. The Mountain Hawks were expected to wrap-up their dual schedule against the Nittany Lions, but the weather left Lehigh's team bus unable to reach University Park.
Despite efforts to continue with the dual meet, the coaching staffs of both teams agreed to cancel. This marks the second straight year that Lehigh's season-ending dual meet at Penn State was cancelled due to weather. Last year a blizzard blanketed the Lehigh Valley leaving Lehigh unable to make the trek.
The Lehigh men conclude the regular season with a 9-1 record, while the Mountain Hawk women finish at 4-4.
Next up for the Mountain Hawks will be the Patriot League Championships, hosted by Bucknell February 17-19 at Kinney Natatorium.
